Vidharbha Youth Welfare Society Amravati was established in the year 1961 in view to import qualitative education to the youth of Vidharbha region. The Society started with high School and by now college, a Dental College, Four Senior Arts, Commerce and Science Colleges, Ten Jr. Colleges, a Social Work College, Number of High Schools, Diploma courses in Agriculture, couple of Hostels for Backward Class Students and Co-Operative Sugar Factory In this way the society has conquered the important Sectors like Agriculture, Co-operative and Education. We are proud to state that the society has be come a ‘ACE’ in every sense of the word.

          Fortunately the office bearers of the Management are visionaries. Each of them have the academic sprit to get the society academically elevates. The chairman, Shri Sandeep R. Meghe is a profound character. He is the son of the founder president of our society and Ex-Education Minister of the State. Late Prof. Shri. Ram Meghe Sir Alias ‘Babuji’ who has sown the seeds of Higher Education in the Social of rural Vidharbha the Vice Presidents Dr. Shirish Gode is a social worker. Sau. Bharati Gode, the Treasurer who has been cutting and pruning the offshoots of the society to help it acquire a head academic and social shape. Other members are conscious enough to enhace the educational significance of the society.
